Hybrid cars for the Middle Class The hybrid cars help America to be less dependent on oil and will help the Middle Class reduce the astronomical gas prices. However, hybrid cars cost more. If America is working on its citizens being less dependent on oil, the hybrid cars need to become more affordable, at least initially to create an incentive for switching from the traditional automobile.
